MURAENIDAE Moray eels

Moray eels are easy to recognise by their distinctive eel shape. They are usually observed poking their head out from a crevice, mouth agape, sometimes with a pair of cleaner shrimp picking at their teeth or cleaning their scales. There are a number of moray eels present in UAE waters.
