Guitarfish Rhinobatis annulatus

Brown, often with paler spots; body shape between sharks and rays; mouth on underside, powerful jaws, translucent nose. Dorsum varies from few spots to heavily spotted. Larger specimens offshore. Also off beaches and shoreline, on sandy bottom near reefs. Predatory on fish, cuttlefish and crustaceans. 200 cm.
