SIGANIDAE Rabbitfish
An unusual feature in rabbitfish is that their pelvic fins are formed by two spines, one at each end, and three soft rays between these. They also have dorsal and anal rays so are well protected, especially so since their rays are venomous. Despite these features, rabbit fish are regarded by local people as one of the finest fish in the sea.
