ARIOMMIDAE Driftfishes

Driftfishes are small, slender fishes with rounded to compressed bodies and small mouths. Two distinct but closely positioned dorsal fins; caudal peduncle square cross-section with two low fleshy lateral keels present either side of caudal base. Associated with inshore reefs.
